Hardscapes

The main two elements in Arizona landscaping are plants and hardscaping.

Technically, if it doesn’t have foliage, this part of your landscape design is categorized as a hard landscaping item now know as your hardscape. Anything made from stone, metals, wood, concrete or brick is found under this division of a Phoenix or Scottsdale landscaping company.

The most commonly requested form of hardscape is the Arizona patio or courtyard, as well as often requested driveways, walks and pool decks. Any surface that is used for all of these applications is a service performed by Desert Crest. As licensed general contractors, we are fully staffed and equipped to do concrete work, pavers and natural stone paving, wood decking and pool decks of outdoor tile like travertine.

Other hardscape elements that are popular in Phoenix area landscapes are patio or courtyard enclosures. Our skills as brick and stone masons come in very handy here. We can design and build privacy walls and garden walls from stucco, three dimensional paver blocks and dry stone walling.
