In today’s small yards adding outdoor living assets poolside makes perfect sense for packing in more benefits without needing more space. This recently completed project in Scottsdale is a perfect example, it’s designed to add great pizzazz to backyard perks. The builder’s pool installation company only installed the pool itself, calling on Desert Crest to put in the pool deck and add awesome features for an outstanding pool finishing.
The pool coping and decking is done with natural travertine pavers while the surrounding planting areas are mulched with a light stone that blends perfectly with the colors in the paving. Doing this makes a compact backyard look much larger than it actually is, as well as collecting less heat thanks to the pale stone’s reflective qualities.
Waterfalls are super popular swimming pool features. This one is fashioned with a channel that is back lit at night set into a curved stone faced wall that offsets the geometric lines of the pool itself. The pair of stone pillars on either side of the water feature are topped with gas torch lights housed in sleek modern planters. The raised spa is also finished with the same natural stone.
It’s an outdoor space the new homeowners will no doubt spend many an hour enjoying, and a big selling point for this newly built Scottsdale home.
