Landscape, Patio & Pool Builders: Phoenix
This recently finished Peoria backyard saved the homeowner all kinds of time, frustration, and perhaps some money. When shopping around for pool builders Phoenix, he learned that Desert Crest builds pools right along with doing landscaping and patio design. A complete backyard package without all the hassle of lining up several contractors who each does their own little part in making the project come together. As a General Contractor and landscape design and installation company, there was no waiting around for available schedule slots when completing each step in the process. The same company does it all.
This new total backyard package started from a 3-D sketchup, a great new tool in the Desert Crest design studio that allows you an actual overhead view of what the new pool and landscaping will look like as a detailed, scale drawing. A huge advance over previous look of a landscape design or pool design when presented to a client. You really had to put your imagination to work to visualize what the final space would look like in real life. Instead, as landscapers and pool builders Phoenix area residents can expect this kind of first peek at their new outdoor space:
When the dust settled, the tools and equipment all packed up ready for departure, that 3-D landscaping and pool rendering looked like this in real life…
The pool, measuring 34′ x 18′ is decked with Ivory Beige travertine pavers laid in the 4-piece Versailles pattern. The roomy 8′ x 8′ patio level spa and the walls at the back of the pool are faced with split-face travertine stone to give great flow throughout the space.
The pool’s water features include both 3″ scuppers in the center wall and copper sheet flow (a.k.a. sheer descent) scuppers in each side wall. Last, but certainly not least, is that crowning glory at the kids’ end of the pool… an Adrenalin water slide.
Blue pots for flowers and semi-tropical landcaping with pygmy date palms selected so the backyard will largely be evergreen, with year around foliage and color.
Finishing this project in early September makes it hard to put the final planting elements in. October installation of the sod and annual flowers allows for giving the homeowners grass that is already prepared for a green winter lawn. Likewise, the annual flowers that go in the blue pots on the pool’s pillars and empty bed along the pool deck is best left until the geraniums become available in a few weeks.
