Peoria, AZ Pool Installation

This gorgeous new Peoria, AZ pool installation is just one part of a total backyard remodel, and while the rest of this family’s outdoor living space looks great, it’s hard for a swimming pool to not steal the show. Who could overlook all that water… especially here in the desert. As backyard pools go, however, this one isn’t large or overwhelming, but it has some outstanding features.

The first extra feature isn’t hard to miss. The dark, rough-hewn ramada that forms the pool shade structure is a stark contrast to everything else in the yard. Built from Douglas Fir and finished with Expresso stain, the woodwork blends beautifully with the natural dark tones running through the split-face Travertine stone work post pillars. Between the large shade trees behind the pool area, and this solid roofed ramada, relaxing poolside offers a comfortable spot on a sunny day. But there’s also a swim bar and serving bar in the shade of the structure.

As with many pool installations today, this new Peoria pool includes a raised spa at one end framed with travertine paver steps that flow into the pool deck connecting to a spacious patio on the other side of the yard. The same Ivory Beige Travertine pavers were inset into the lawn to create a stepping stone path from the back porch. This takes a good share of the wear off the synthetic turf in the traffic pattern between the house and spa. Naturally, it’s perfectly okay that the protective element looks smashing meandering through green grass.

The pool itself owes it’s beautiful shade to the Glass Pebble Sheen surface in Aqua Blue. It’s just the right color for an Arizona pool – not too light or too dark, a cooling and refreshing presence that always looks vibrant and inviting.

In the images below you’ll get a look at the pool fountains in the swim bar featuring classic bracketed iron spouts that echo the Old World aura of the dark tile-roofed ramada. The view from the spa into the sunken pool bar looks dramatically different with night lighting than it does in the daytime.
